I hopped on the bus after work tonight and sat down. The bus was fairly empty so I was pretty sure I'd get the two seats to myself. Well, I didn't. This woman sat down next to me. She started to smell the little bag she had. I thought it was a little weird, but thought maybe she'd just purchased scented candles or fruit or something and was smelling them.

She kept putting the bag over her face. At this point I thought, "oh my god, she's huffing something...fuel, glue...I can't believe she's huffi-"

*wretch*

OH.MY.GOD. She's throwing up in the bag not huffing!

I just about threw up in my own bag. This woman was barfing in the bag and she was sitting next to me. I quickly said excuse me and got up and moved.

I came home and scrubbed myself clean. How disgusting. And how rude! While I can accept that public transportation may be the only mode of transportation and she had to ride eventhough she was sick. What I can't accept is the fact that there were empty seats on the bus and she chose to sit beside someone.

I've felt icky all night! UGH
